Andrew Clayton Named Technical Director for Western Emulsions
March 28, 2011 -- Western Emulsions Inc. announced it has appointed C. Andrew Clayton to the position of Technical Director. Mr. Clayton will be responsible for product advancement and development for the company, a leading regional manufacturer and supplier of sustainable, high performance products used in asphalt pavement preservation and recycling.

Mr. Clayton is a 30-year veteran of the asphalt and petroleum industry. Prior to joining Western Emulsions, he was technical manager for PetroChem Manufacturing, where he was responsible for research and development of new and improved rubberized emulsion aggregate seal systems, along with technical marketing and sales force training. He also innovated new products as technical manager for several other asphalt refineries during his career.
A graduate of California State University at Bakersfield, Mr. Clayton is an active member of the Asphalt Emulsions Manufacturers Association (AEMA), the California Chip Seal Association, and the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM).
